ARGO SYSTEM Synergy between research, innovation and the world of production to restart the country. A system to be extended and replicated nationwide

Argo is a new industrial system based on the innovation of processes and products that works to increase economic productivity and generate new jobs, through the interaction between research and industry.

The Argo system was born from an Institutional Memorandum of Understanding, signed on 1 March 2018 by the Ministry of Education, University and Research, Ministry of Economic Development and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, identifying the Area Science Park as the coordinating subject of all activities.

More than 40 partners, public entities and private companies helped developing four complex projects:

Trieste Hub

Creation of a Hub in the industrial backport of Trieste for the settlements of high-tech companies with a sustainable circular economy that over time becomes a model that can be replicated and applied in various areas at national level.

Foundation

Creation of a Foundation (public but open to private individuals) for the generation and development of companies with a high rate of innovation that coordinates the regional systems of incubators and accompanies companies from the pre-incubation phase to that of entering the market.

Digital Innovation Hub

Establishment of the Digital Innovation hub of Friuli Venezia Giulia (public-private) and its extension to various regions.

R&D Platform

Creation and full operation of scientific and technological platforms, research laboratories available to public entities and private companies willing to work on innovation projects.
